Weekend update

Heyo,

It had been a powerful weekend for our CG.

Firstly, CGM with Pastor Kenneth was a whole new experience for many of us. We learned how to move in the gifts of the Spirit and about effective prayers, as well as praying for our loved ones and the CG. Let's be encouraged and continue to move in the gifts, so as to sharpen them and be more effective ministers of God! =)

Then our first CG movie outing of 2008~

Ok, the show IS brainless. -_- But i think everyone had a good laugh. Sometimes it is not so much the activity, rather it is the company. =)
Let it not be a one off thing, but we can all take turns to organise CG outings and even outreaches. We are to work as a team, not as an individual. So who is up next? ;)

Sunday service was once again another praying session for many of us. As we learn of the purpose of prayer, and also prayed for our family members who are yet to be saved. Let's continue to pray for them, especially our mothers for the upcoming Mother's Day weekend service. Also remember how Pastor encouraged us all to pray for 5 minutes each day for 5 friends. Whatever we birth in the spirit, it will be birthed in the natural. The Holy Spirit will move before us to pave the way by opening up their hearts to God and us. These are only possible when we plug into God and pray for His people. As mentioned earlier, if you want us to pray for your friends, which we should, then do post the names or email me...

It is a start of a new week. We are crossing over to May, meeting the mid-year marking soon. Wow. Let's really stir ourselves up through fervent prayers and go out for the harvest!!! =)
