Strategies for Growth

Hihi, this is a re-cap(or announcement) for those who went to cell-group on Saturday. Ah Jie gave us some Strategies for growth in our cell group and labelled it in 3 different points.

Well below are the things that we are to do :)

1)For Spiritual Growth
*Spiritual Diaries - We are all to keep a spiritual "diary" and this is to be given to Ah jie for review every 2 weeks, so the 1st submission would be on 31/05/2008
*Cell-group Blog - This blog can be used as a vehicle to spread the goodness of God to the rest of us, so any good reports/testimonies/news/revelations/Rhema word etc. can be posted on the blog itself.
*Discipleship - After Ah Jie is not as busy as before, she will be meeting with us on a 1 on 1 basis for personal discipleship.

2) For Evangelism
*Prayer Groups (Connect Groups) - We are to meet up with our individual connect-groups to pray for each other's friends and to also use the time to plan for connect-groups outreaches. So each connect group is to meet regularly to keep on keeping on.
*Effective Prospect List (Spiritual Adoption) - As talked about in a previous sermon, it is important that we have a effective prospect list for our friends.
*Praying 5 mins for 5 Friends - This was encouraged by Pastor Kenneth, who said that we can set aside 5 mins a day to pray for 5 different friends outside of our own quiet time, so lets all continue to work hard on this. :)
*Outreaches (Connect Groups) - After planning for the connect groups outreaches, we must also put it into action and to invite our prospects for those events, be it a movie or a meal.
*Monthly Highlights - Don't forget to continue to invite our friends for our Cell-Group Monthly Highlights. This month's will be hosted by our own Aloysious, and will likely be held on the end of the month. Do look out for it :)
*Schools - As some of us are still studying, if you have a burden for your school, we can get a small group to start praying for the school to be open for the gospel. Do let Ah Jie know about this and she can see what we can do.
*Monthly Calendar - This Calendar is to be done by each connect-group. This calendar is to show the events for the connect group, what we are doing(prayer groups, planning etc.) and the actual outreaches day itself. "To be planned for the month in advance. Eg. June schedule to be planned in May"
*Personal Target - Don't forget that Ah Jie challenged us to invite at least 2 friends per month to service. So let's all continue to work hard for it! :)

3) For Cell-Group Unity
*Angel-Mortal Game - It speaks for itself, so let's all continue to do the best for our mortals, k?
*Cell-group outings - A cell-group that stays connected will be more bonded, so when possible, do try to join us when we do go out together.

IMPT: All connect groups are to meet up this coming week to discuss on:
a. Prospects list
b. Outreaches
c. Schools which we have burden for
d. Monthly Calender Chart-what we want to do every month.
