Haha. Super backdated entry on our July highlight!
10 brave souls went into the waters of Pasir Ris Park and executed challenging team activities. 7 went on further, to behold the sight of a tanker ship.
WOW...
Ok ok, that is OVER.
Below is my honest, down-to-earth account of the day.
Well 10 of us went kayaking in July and it was an experience. We all took two persons kayak, apparently to build teamwork. It was good news for me cos i wont be alone. 'Bad' news cos my partner is a playful one. Still he is reliable. Well he got to, when you have your girlfriend 'screaming' behind you. Haha.
Personally, it was my first time and honestly i was freaked out the day before. (Dont believe, as my sister and Sean.) Anyway, i am not a fan of water and water sports, so according to Sean, i have almost zero water confidence. It was a challenge and for us, it was a lot of trust in my partner that he will not capsize me and that things will go on just fine. I mean, it did, except for my early return due to seasick. The night before, i was still remindig myself to take the pill. Haiz. In the end, ours was more of a one person kayak, rather than a two persons thing. Ooops. Officially a free-rider. Hahaha.
The team activities that I took part in were fun, really, though i was gripped by fear too. Thank you all for your support. Thanks Regina for telling me the 'filling' joke, though i heard it, just a few days before, but it did distract me. =) Thanks to the others who accomodated me and helped me along the way to complete the task. It was an achievement possible with you. *Claps*
Hope you all had an enjoyable session. I did. Sorry no photos. Camera lady was still recovering from the whole kayaking episode that she forgot to swip out her camera as usual. :X Still, the view along Pasir Ris waters is really pretty and an experience to be remembered, with or without the photo(s). =)
Great job W138!
